TownSponsor LLC ("TownSponsor," "we," "us," or "our") operates townsponsor.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Our hosting provider (Netlify) and content delivery network automatically collect standard server log data including IP addresses, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is collected as a standard feature of web hosting infrastructure and is not used by TownSponsor for tracking or advertising purposes.
We do not collect, store, or process financial information such as credit card numbers or bank account details. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle your payment data.

TownSponsor does not use first-party cookies, tracking pixels, analytics software, or behavioral advertising technologies. We do not track your activity across other websites.
Stripe, our payment processor, may set session cookies during the checkout process for fraud prevention and payment security purposes. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
TownSponsor does not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes — ever.

TownSponsor's platform involves donations to specific nonprofit organizations. Your donation history, cause preferences, and giving profile settings may reveal or imply sensitive personal attributes including religious affiliation, political or philosophical views, school or youth program affiliation, health-related interests, or support for veterans' causes.
TownSponsor does not sell this information and does not use it for targeted advertising. Donation history and giving preferences are used only to provide platform services and personalized giving reminders as described in this policy. Sponsors may elect private, organizations-only, or public visibility for their giving profile and history at any time through their giving profile settings.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide to us. All data transmitted to and from TownSponsor is encrypted via HTTPS. We use separate read and write access credentials for our data systems and maintain weekly encrypted backups. We do not store financial information of any kind.
TownSponsor is open to all users. There are no age restrictions for browsing our platform. However, to make a financial transaction you must be of legal age to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction, which is 18 years of age in most U.S. states.
TownSponsor does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Our platform serves school booster clubs, youth athletic programs, and similar organizations — which means minors may be associated with the causes listed on our platform. However, the individuals who create accounts, submit forms, or make donations must be adults.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 13 has provided personal information to TownSponsor, please contact us at help@townsponsor.com and we will promptly delete that information from our records.

To exercise any of these rights, submit your request to help@townsponsor.com. We will respond within 45 days. If we need additional time, we will notify you within the initial 45-day window and may extend our response by an additional 45 days. If we deny your request, you may appeal by contacting us at the same address. We will respond to appeals within 60 days.
TownSponsor retains personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy — including processing donations, issuing tax receipts, maintaining required financial records, and providing platform services. When data is no longer needed for these purposes it is deleted or anonymized. Donation and transaction records may be retained longer where required by law or for tax compliance purposes.
In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, TownSponsor will notify affected users as quickly as possible following discovery of the breach. If a breach involves 250 or more Texas residents, TownSponsor will also notify the Texas Attorney General within 30 days of determining that a breach has occurred, as required by Tex. Bus. & Com. Code Sec. 521.053. Notice will be provided via email to the address associated with your account.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
